Great teaching: begin with the end in view
Begin the year with not only its end in view; but with the end of time [Eternity] & HEAVEN…in view!
2 I, Daniel, fasted three full weeks [21 days]. 3 I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth…8…& I saw this great vision…9…& I heard the sound of his words…12…he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the 1st day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come…[to give you answers]. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia [darkness] withstood me 21 days; and behold, [Angel] Michael, …came to help me…Daniel 10
8…My lord, what shall be d end of these things?” 9 & he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for d words are closed up & sealed till d time of d end. 10 Many shall be purified, made white [righteous] & refined, but d wicked shall do wickedly; & none of d wicked shall understand, but d wise shall understand…13 “But you, go your way till d end; for you shall rest, & will arise to your inheritance at d end of d days.” Daniel 12
Fasting activates d despatch of Angels, to help:
1.remove satanic/demonic obstacles & hindrances, &
2.release to me [hindered] answers to my prayers; to make them manifest, &
3.give me revelation & understanding of d present & d end time. & of my ultimate inheritance [Blessing, Promise]: Heaven!
16 For D Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with d voice of an archangel, & with d trumpet of God. & d dead in Christ will rise 1st. 17 Then we who are alive & remain [in Christ; in d Faith] shall be caught up [Raptured] with them in the clouds to meet D Lord in the air. & thus we shall always be with D Lord. 18 Therefore comfort [encourage] one another with these words 1 Thess. 4
Believe & receive!
I shall resist d strong pull of earthly/worldly things that deceive to think that this world is our home. That d after-life & d ABOVE don’t exist, don’t matter, or can wait.
2 Set your mind on [prioritize] things Above [Heavenly, permanent, enduring things], not on things on d earth [passing, temporary, fading things]…5 Put to death [mortify, kill off, deaden, deprive] your sinful, earthly impulses: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry…8 put off anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language…9 Do not lie…Colossians 3
Do I know, appreciate that this fallen world is coming to an end? Soon? Are I ready? For d Rapture? To escape d Tribulation?
It’s no joke; no fairy tale. Remember The Flood. Remember Noah. Remember Sodom & Gomorrah. Remember Lot’s wife!
10 But d day of d Lord will come like a thief. D heavens will disappear with a roar; d elements will be destroyed by fire, & d earth & everything in it will be laid bare [burnt up]. 11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy & Godly lives 12 as you look forward to d day of God…13…to a new heaven & a new earth, where righteousness dwells.14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless & at peace with him… 17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by d error of d lawless & fall from your secure [saved, born-again] position. 18 But grow in d Grace & Knowledge of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be Glory both now & forever! Amen, 2 Peter 3
